Job Responsibilities
- Lead the development and execution of the bank’s financial strategy aligned with corporate goals.
- Drive strategic planning, forecasting, stress testing, and scenario analysis.
- Monitor financial performance and implement corrective actions for profitability and stability.
- Oversee preparation of internal management reports for the Board and senior leadership.
- Ensure compliance with financial statements, disclosures, and audit processes.
- Provide leadership for regulatory reporting under CBSL regulations and guidelines.
- Collaborate with Internal Audit, Risk Management, and Compliance teams.
- Lead sustainability and ESG strategy aligned with global best practices.
- Develop analytics and data-driven decision-making capabilities.
- Manage annual budgeting, long-term planning, and cost control.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 15 years experience including 5–6 years at senior management level.
- Professional qualification in Finance / CA / CIMA / ACCA or a Bachelor’s Degree in Finance or Accounting.
- MBA and previous experience in banking or financial services will be an added advantage.
- Strong knowledge of CBSL regulatory framework, IFRS and governance standards.
- Expertise in financial strategy, capital planning, risk management and performance optimization.
- Strong leadership and stakeholder management skills.
