Commercial Bank of Ceylon PLC, Sri Lanka’s largest private sector bank, invites applications for its official Internship Programme for school leavers and A/L students. This programme provides practical exposure to modern banking operations, customer service, and workplace discipline under experienced banking professionals.

This internship is ideal for candidates who have completed or are awaiting G.C.E. Advanced Level (A/L) results and wish to pursue a future career in banking or finance in Sri Lanka.

Qualifications

• Applicants must be below 21 years of age.
• Passed G.C.E. (O/L) examination in one sitting.
• Minimum six (06) subjects including Mathematics and English.
• Local O/L: Minimum four (04) “C” passes including Mathematics and an “A” or “B” for English.
• Edexcel / Cambridge O/L: Six subjects with three “B” passes (including English & Mathematics) and three “C” passes.
• Applicants who have sat for A/L (Local / Edexcel / Cambridge) and are awaiting results may apply.
